My son turned 9 today! Actually it should be yesterday since it's already 2 o'clock in the morning.
Anyway, I was all sentimental during his birthday party. To think, another 9 years, he would be off to college! Eeeeek!
What can I say -- I'm having a worst case of "proud parent" syndrome, and decide to post a little clip of him playing piano on this special day. It's the song from the opening credits of his favorite movie Pirates of the Caribbean:

It sounds like he had a great birthday :)
(and man, I hadn't thought about 9 being halfway to 18 - I've been recently bummed because Elizabeth is starting 7th grade and she's halfway done with school. How is THAT possible??)
