Earlier today, I kinda promised
ckll I would go through my old SPN magazines to find out where they mentioned Castiel is the patron saint of Thursday. That's when I realized it's been awhile since I last bought an official magazine. So I went to the bookstore this afternoon to check if I missed an issue or two. What'd you know--I found the 100 page special issue! It contains tons of stuff. Some of them we've already seen or heard from the 100th celebration party. Still I thought I'll make the scan as before and share with the oversea fans who cannot buy the magazine.

ETA: Thanks to Mick, she found the info about Castiel being the Angel of Thursday on this site. Interesting stuff. Here in lies the reason I'm so meh about SPN's move to Friday.
Also I put up the scan of another article (the centennial party) here.

Hehe, I normally is the last person to get the magazine. And you are welcome bb about sharing -- you set a good example. That's part of the fun of being in a fandom I think. *g*

On the Castiel thing--I don't know if you were looking specifically for the article itself, or for info on Castiel, but I found this link with info about the angel Castiel, where it mentions him being the angel of Thursday:

On the other hand, Friday is reserved for genre shows. Looks like I'm destined to watch my favorite shows on Friday nights.
I did too about the "taking their shirts off" part. I actually had the feeling that JA is more adverse to it than JP. I think in term of experience, JA has tried many different things. From Daytime Soap, to Indie Films, from in front of camera, to stage performance, and now he can include voice work in his resume. Have you read that JA is invited to direct an episode next season? He didn't ask for it, and TPTB invited him to do it because he's been helping out on set and giving sound suggestions about scenes. Isn't that awesome? I can't wait to see hear more about that. I'm so excited!
p.s. I put up another scan from the magazine here (http://xwacky.livejournal.com/61949.html#cutid1). It's about the centennial party.

Yep, I read that he was going to direct an episode next season. I'm excited to see what it will be. I heard him say lots of times that's he's interested in that sort of thing, and I think it says alot that they asked him to do it!
Going to check your other scans!!!

Their friendship/brotherhood is definately the reason this show has gone to another level. The writing the story its all good and the brothers premise all good but its the fact that the Js are so close that makes every scene that much more palpable.
Thank you so much for the article. It was a wonderful read.

LOL, about neither Jensen nor Jared wanting to take off their shirts. They're right, of course. But too bad for the fans.

LOL, I had the same reaction to what they said about taking off their shirts. And I have the feeling that Jensen is even more adverse to it than Jared. The good thing is this shows the boys are confident they can attract fans attention by their talents rather than their sex appeal. *g*
