Went to school's Trident Room (Bar & Lounge) last night for dinner. After the meal, my son stepped up to the pool table and started playing around.

Uhm, when did he learn how to do this?!  He looked pretty good at it (in posture), well to me anyway :p.

For that matter, when did he grow so big?! o.O  It seemed it was only yesterday he was a little boy.  Not that he is really big nowadays, but he's definitely not a baby any more. :)

I'm telling ya, they grow up way too fast!

Yeah, too fast! Last night, I was helping my son's Spanish project for school (he had to make a family tree in Spanish), we went through some older pictures from several years back. He looked so itty bitty!

How old is your little Dean? How many kids do you have? Hee, it always makes me extremely happy to meet a fellow Mum in this fandom!

From: [identity profile] xwacky.livejournal.com

Hee, he's nine. He'll turn ten in a couple of months. And he's my only child. You are a mom too? That's pretty awesome! ♥♥♥ (for Mom!) How many do you have? How old, if you don't mind me asking?

I have 4 boys! #1 and #2 are 16 and 12. They're my SamandDean 1. #3 and #4 are 7 and 3, and they're my SamandDean 2!

And oh, #4 is a huge Dean fan :))

Four BOYS! You must be hugely busy all the time. I feel I'm loosing my mind half of the time with only one! But boys are fun, aren't they? And they can be so sweet to their mom sometimes. ;)

Sounds like your boys are precious. So two and two get along really well, huh. Good that they have someone to be close too.

Am I getting this right? Your 3 year old is a Dean fan? Hehe... Mine likes Dean too. But he only watched comedic episodes. He likes Dean because he thinks Dean is funny!

OMG! He is soooooo precious! He's going to grow up to be a cutie just like Dean! :D

My son has a Dean jacket too! He loves it. But I don't have a picture of him wearing it.

I thought it looked familiar, but I thought "Alec?" and I knew something wasn't exactly *clicky*. I forgot that Dean plays pool too!
Great shot! :)

Alec? Do you mean Jensen's character in Dark Angel? I haven't got a chance to watch the series yet. I got the season 2 dvds, and it's been sitting on my shelf. Alec is only a supporting character on the show, is it? Speak of Dark Angel, have you ever read an LJ entry (wrote back in 2005) by a screen writer who was one of the original people casted Jensen in DA? That was quite an interesting anecdote.

Great shot!

Do you mean his shot (at the ball), or my shot of the camera? ;) The 8 Ball missed the pocket by an inch in case you were wondering... lol

Do you mean his shot (at the ball), or my shot of the camera?
Haha. Both. :)
Nah, I meant his, because yours is kind of out of focus or whatever it's called. ;)

Alec? Do you mean Jensen's character in Dark Angel?
That's the one. Funny how all roads lead to Jensen. Like Rome.

Alec is only a supporting character on the show, is it?
Well, he's part of the main cast, so yes and no. Of course he had to give space to Jessica Alba and that Michael Whateverly guy, but whenever he's on -- he shines. If you don't have the urge to watch the whole season, throw in "Berrisford Agenda". The scene during the dinner sweeps me off my feet every time.

have you ever read an LJ entry by a screen writer...
Sure. *grin*

Hehe, Don't you know I was going for that *smokey filled* special effect? 'Kidding! Just my crappy cellphone camera, and the fact he was in motion. The place is actually squeaky clean. I wouldn't take him to a smoke filled place if I can help it. ;)

"All roads lead to Jensen." I like it! *g*

Jensen is a show stealer to be sure. I'm convinced it's because no matter he's in the foreground or background, he never lets himself slip out of his character even for a second. And he's so nuanced, he never over-does nor under-does a scene.

I'm planning to watch Dark Angel sometimes soon. But I have zero interest in any episode Jensen isn't in (I only got second season btw). So do you have a list of the eps without him? That will be really helpful!

Lastly, I should've known you've read everything that's written about JA. *g*

I agree--"The Berrisford Agenda" is a must see. As a little note to that one, I was watching it one day a few months ago on the Sci-Fi channel, and my son came into the room. Jensen was on the screen, and he asked who he was. When I asked him why he wanted to know, he replies with, "I think he looks like me."

As for what episodes he's in, you could check either the TV Guide site under Jensen or IMDB. Every now and then someone will post what one's he's not in on TWOP, too. I believe there's around 3-4 he isn't in at all, but there's also a few that he's in, but only a couple of scenes.

There's another episode, I can't remember the name of it now, where one of the characters who happens to be part dog (that's an odd thing to write, isn't it) falls for a blind girl. There's a very touching scene at the end of that story that involves those two and Alec. The girl is played by Kandyse McClure.

I'll run through the second season episodes and will try to remember which ones he's in a little, which ones he's not at all and which are extremely worth reccing (yeah, like the one Mick is talking about). If you want to start from the beginning though, it should be "Pollo Loco" from the first season, where Jensen plays Ben, Alec's twin (or rather, chronogically, it's Alec, who's Ben's twin ;), but who cares). It's worth seeing just for the starking difference between Ben and Alec. Ackting galore. I'm sure you could download this single episode somewhere, maybe I'll find link.

Oh, what wouldn't I do to see Alec once more for friends. ;)

Thanks Mick and Spirit (btw I adore your username)!

That's a very good suggestion Mick. And Spirit, the imdb won't tell me if Alec only appear in an episode for a couple of minutes, so if you can tell me which ones are those, I'd really thank you!

Kandyse was in scenes with Jensen? How cool! I gotta check that out.

And Evening (do you like me to shorten your username to evening or spirit), when are you going to update another chapter of Choices and Chances?

From: (Anonymous)

Not only was she in scenes (well, actually, I think it was just one scene), but she got to touch him! I tell ya, she's one lucky girl--Jensen AND Jamie!!!!

From: [identity profile] xwacky.livejournal.com

ROFLMAO! What a lucky girl! First Jensen, then Jamie. :p I knew I liked her for a reason. ;)

From: [identity profile] xwacky.livejournal.com

Either that, or I'm getting old fast! ;)

I always thought once I became mom, time flies.

From: (Anonymous)

Yes, time does fly. Laurie once told me, "The days are long, but the years are short." I find myself saying that all the time.

That's the best damn quote I've heard in a long while, Mick. Laurie and her endless wisdom. Now how the heck can we get her to watch Supernatural as well?! Remember us three used to share a brain? ;) Wouldn't it be fun if we can discuss Dean and Sam with her too? I have a feeling she would love it once she starts watching (just like me)!
