Uhm, changed my banner again.

I can't quite get the Dean/Lee graphics to mix well together. So I decided to hell with it, and made an animated gif instead. :p

I'm a little nervous about the file size.  It's almost 3 times the still banner.  Hope this is not going to be a big problem.  Oh well, probably going to change it again soon...

ETA:  I also cheated by cropping one of my favorite wallpapers (Bastille Day) made by stilettos81.  Hope you don't mind girl!

Hm. All the pics are beautiful. Separately. But together there's too much, I think. But you know what caught my attention. B&W Lee. And then I noticed you turned Dean's pic from "Lasarus Rising" (right?) into B&W as well, and it works great with the colors of the font in the title of your journal. Maybe you should go in that direction?

I'm not too happy with how this turned out. I like the "Supernatural" portion. I think I achieved a noir feel which is what I was after. But I'm having problem with the BSG portion. It's entirely too bright for my liking.

I also wasn't too sure about the "Soldier" and "Leader" wording here. I think they are too cheesy, and am thinking of taking them out.

FYI, the pictures I used for SPN are from "Lazarus Rising" (Dean driving with Sam sitting shotgun), "Magnificent Seven" (Dean sitting on the floor holding his shotgun), and Season One Promo artwork. I've always thought SPN has really cool camera works which makes it a lot easier making graphics. BSG on the other hand is quite challenging for my skill level.

Nice job! I haven't figured out animation yet and still struggle with basic of graphics. Next time I do a bamber_news update I'll need to ask your advice. ;)

Thank you! I used Photoshop CS3 to make the animated gif. There's a nice tutorial given by iconsbycurtana. The entry tags are "animated" and "tutorial".

I'd be happy to help you with anything you want me to do. Hmmm... you got me thinking of making an animated banner of Jamie Bamber! :p

p.s. Love your icon, is that a new picture of Jamie?
