Bracing Self for What's Ahead

According to BuddyTV, a draw out mid season hiatus is looming over the horizon for BSG.

Face it, we all know it's coming for a long time.  But doesn't make it any less dreary to read about it.

On a higher note, just saw it at bamber_news that Jamie Bamber, along with his fellow actors/actresses, is submitted by TPTB to the Emmy committee for their consideration.

Woohoo!

Jamie is up in the "Best Supporting Actor" category for his work in "Sine Qua Non", the upcoming episode in 2 weeks (frakking mini hiatus).  Other actors submitted for the same episode include:  Eddie (EJO) for "Best Actor", and Michael (MH) also for "Best Supporting Actor".  Mary, James, Tricia, Grace, and Katee are submitted for various episodes as well.  Complete list can be found here.

I'm left wondering if I'd get another *good* father-and-son scene in two weeks.

I need a *good* father-and-son scene!!! Really, I do! Because even though Lee was in the ep last week (finally!!!), it wasn't enough. *sigh* I want to see Lee and Bill being all father and son again, just one scene, one tiny little scene to remind me of why I originally fell in love with the show (before I fell in love with JB!).

We are close to half way through the season (sniff), all we got in terms of father-and-son scenes are couple of brief ones in the first two episodes. They hardly interacted at all! Once upon a time, RDM and DE emphasized the father-son dynamic was the backbone of the show. Alas!

I really am in a mood for an angst-y Lee-Bill scene. I just don't believe Bill has taken Lee quiting the military all that well...

I want my father-son angst baaaaack!
