I actually groaned when I read Fringe's new time slot. I don't watch that show, but I've read it's pretty good. So I'm sure it's a solid competition. But you are right, SPN fans are, if nothing else, loyal!
Even if Kripke decides to end the show at 5 seasons, I still think the ratings are important. If it continues to grow like it did in season 4, a movie deal may not be out of reach I hope.
