In memory of family and friends who have lost the battle with cancer; and in support of the ones who continue to conquer it! Post this on your LJ if you know someone who has or had cancer.
My grandmother died of lung cancer, and my stepdad's sister lost her battle with lung cancer not too long ago. I have an LJ friend who had breast cancer in the past. But she hasn't made any new post since Apr 2008. I'm rather worried about her and hope her absence from LJ is due to her busy schedule. On the positive side, I learned my friend (met through our mutual love for certain TV characters) whose mom is a cancer survivor. I'd like to express my best wish and support to her and her family.
