The Other J2...

Looks like James Callis is joining his BFF Jamie Bamber in Ron Moore's "17th Precinct" on NBC (see the blurb here @ [livejournal.com profile] bamber_news).

I learned the word "BRITMANCE" from [livejournal.com profile] zegeekgirl. What a lovely term... *g*

UPDATE: Besides Jamie and James, Tricia Helfer is the third Battlestar Galactica alum joining RDM's latest project! http://www.imdb.com/news/ni8262142/

Ha! When I saw "The Other J2..." I immediately thought of the "Pork: The Other White Meat" campaign from a few years back. Not that Jamie and James are pigs, of course, but it was just the cadence of it in my head. /random

Ooh--I hope Jamie and Tricia get some scenes together!
I wonder if any other alum will join?

Hope you are having a great week!

They look so cute.

Who wouldn't jump at a chance to work on an RDM project? I may have to watch this. :D

EEEEEEEEE!!!!! I'M SO EXCITED! NBC BETTER NOT FRAK THIS UP!

This is FANTASTIC news! :) Callis and Helfer, wooo! Of course I knew about Jamie participating in this already and I was excited.
The permise of the show looks promising too. :)

BTW, did you see Jamie in "Outcasts"? I need to post that review I wrote about it before it gets too old. *headdesk*

I've been watching Bamber on Law and Order: UK. He's wonderful! I really enjoy watching him!

You.♥ LOL! My stomach hurts. I pulled a muscle laughing.

On a sobering note, so sorry for such late reply. I had no idea anybody made a comment here. *kicks lj*

Me too! We never really got Jamie and Tricia interaction before. But I seriously hope this is the extent of BSG alums joining RDM's new project.

These two brits are adorable! And they are both very intelligent too. I just love to hear them talk. *g*

Hey bb, sorry about the late response. Apparently LJ is still acting up and randomly neglect to post notifications. I had no idea anybody made a comment here. *pouts*

*sigh* I actually am quite apprehensive on watching another RDM project. But I just couldn't pass this one due to Jamie, James and now Tricia's involvement. :D

[identity profile] xwacky.livejournal.com 2011-03-08 07:05 pm (UTC)(link)
NO KIDDING! I'M SO EXCITED TOO. At the same time I'm trying to keep cool for fear of NBC not picking up the whole season order.

*fingers crossed - please please don't frak this up!*

BTW, sorry for the late response. LJ decided not to notify me of people's comments here. :(

IKR?! I'm a little apprehensive about getting into another RDM project though. But I hope this one is good.

I haven't seen Outcasts yet. Truthfully I'm weary because the review of the show (not Jamie's performance) isn't too promising, plus I know Jamie's involvement is rather limited. Did you like it?

p.s. Sorry about the late response. LJ failed to notify me of ppl's comments here. *pouts*

Hey you! *waves*

I'm glad you enjoy watching Jamie! Beside Jensen, I'm crazy about him too. Lol, what's up with all these actors whose names start with "J" that I adore?! ;p

[identity profile] evening-spirit.livejournal.com 2011-03-10 04:43 pm (UTC)(link)
I like Outcasts, because it's the kind of sci-fi I like. No space battles, no plastic alien races. It's about people in strange environment and how they react to it. Too bad it's apparently going to get cancelled after only eight episodes. :(

And yes, my favorite character of the show was Mr. Bamber's Mitchell Hoban, even though he's only in one epi. ;) If you're not going to watch the show, this one episode is worth seeing, even if only for Jamie.

If you're interested in the show, I posted that longer review on my LJ.
