I think it's the same for me too, but all those episodes including this one hold a special place in my heart in different ways.
LOL, yeah Dean could never not look good! He's the kinda guy, like George Clooney and Brad Pitt, who just age really well! But anyway I'm digressing now, ICA with what you said here. I came across a picspam yesterday of both Deans and putting there faces side by side you can see the minuscule changes in their expressions, which even though they're so small, it's enough to tell them apart. 2009 Dean had much softer expressions whereas the look on future Dean's face was so much harder, like he was carrying the whole weight of the world with every pained look. My explanation isn't even giving Jensen enough credit here, but I just can't get my head around how he did it! He totally rocked this episode!
Jensen's tear gets me every time too, even before it falls down his cheek, when his eyes are shining with barely held tears. I'll say it one more time (and suspect it may not be the last), I never thought a man can look beautiful when he cries. No wonder everyone loves to hurt the poor guy in fanfictions
I know! Just watching the lip quiver as he tries so hard to hold back the tears and keep it together is enough to set me off! It's his own fault for looking so damn pretty when he's hurting! ;-)
The only difference I can see is Dean's heart/instinct lies with Sam, whereas Sam's heart/instinct has a lot to do with self fulfillment/improvement/discovery.
That's a great point! For Dean family is everything!I think Sam doesn't know what he or his heart wants. He's confused and tries so hard to follow what makes him normal or thinks is the "right thing to do," but at the end of the day he always comes back to Dean, because that's where his heart lye's. I think there's a part of him that wishes there was more to this. More to hunting, more to just killing supernatural evil with his brother. It's why he's always wanted to finish this fight, so he can finally start his life. But he doesn't understand that this is his life.
Heee, I need to read your reviews. Two of them! I have them bookmarked already. I wish I can buy time. But then again I probably would run out of money a lot quicker. O_o
Lol, no worries! I do tend to waffle so I'm sorry for taking more time away from you then I should! I've got to learn how to keep my reviews short and sweet. ;-)
