Sorry you had bad weather, sweetie. I know how it's like windy & wet in Paris, especially along the Seine -- it's miserable, and so not the romantic place it cracked up to be. Hopefully the weather will turn better for you, because a bright & sunny day in Paris? Le sigh!

I almost did a Marilyn Monroe "impersonation"

This I had to LOL, 'cos I now know why you had such problems with the stairs. You were in your 3-in heels, weren't you? ::laughs hysterically::

Andy pointed out the reason there was no doors was because the artist painted the backside of the church ...

I found this very ironic. You know how it is, the artist was trying to express his feeling of exclusion, when to an un-jaded observer, he just didn't find his way!

As we stepped outside the museum, we discovered there was a subway entrance right underneath the museum!

Do you have a map of the Paris Metro system? Sounds like you don't. It's quite necessary for exploring the city. I noticed this from your last blog, too. In my estimation, it shouldn't take that long to go from your hotel to Notre Dame -- Cite is a stop for many Metro lines.

Where else are you going to? And when are you gonna write me about the food?
